Introduction
Build a piece of aviation history with the Fokker DR.1 Triplane Starter Kit.
Overview
This 1:72 scale model airplane recreates one of the most famous aircraft of World War I, renowned for its exceptional maneuverability and rate of climb. The aircraft became legendary through Captain Manfred von Richthofen, better known as the "Red Baron," whose aerial victories helped cement the DR.1's place in aviation history. The model consists of 37 parts and features finely structured surfaces with precise details, a detailed cockpit complete with a control stick and pilot's seat, authentic "Spandau" machine guns, and a true-to-scale radial engine with a movable propeller. These carefully recreated features help bring the iconic triplane to life. Included decals allow builders to choose between two historic aircraft from March 1918, both flown by the von Richthofen brothers. Combining historical accuracy with detailed features, this model offers an engaging building experience and a striking display piece for aviation enthusiasts and collectors alike.
