Description

The MiG 15 was one of the first operational jet fighters of the 20th Century, and it was also one of the most successful yet produced. Designed by the USSR shortly after WWII using captured German jet research, the MiG-15 very closely resembled a late Messerschmitt concept. Unlike its German inspiration, the MiG-15 was produced in large numbers, entered combat over Korea in 1950, and continued in service until the '70s. The MiG 15 was fast, maneuverable, heavily armed, and a true nemesis to UN and NATO pilots during the early Cold War. This model authentically, in detail, replicates the MiG-15 bis, NATO codenamed Fagot B.
