Build your Slash from the ground up with all the required parts and electronics included in the box. You'll get the convenience of a TQ™ 2.4 GHz radio system, powerful Titan^® electric motor, and waterproof XL-5™ electronic speed control. All the parts are organized neatly in labeled bags with a fully illustrated color manual to make building rewarding and fun. Extreme HD Suspension Components - The Slash unassembled kit comes outfitted with factory-installed Extreme Heavy-Duty suspension components for ultimate strength and durability. The rear axle carriers, C-hubs, and steering blocks are beefed up with more material and stronger construction.

Easy-to-Follow Assembly Instructions - The full-color instruction book is easy to follow and fun to use. Each section corresponds to a labeled bag with step-by-step instructions. True-to-scale illustrations and ruler charts make it easy to differentiate between different parts. Helpful assembly tips and clear illustrations take the frustration out of the assembly process.

Clipless Body Mounting - Slash’s tough clipless body holds firm no matter how rough the action gets. Heavy-duty latches grip the body tightly, but release in just seconds to access the chassis. Slash’s hidden latching system replaces time-consuming and inconvenient body clips with large reinforced panels to resist pull-through damage.

Titan 12-Turn 550 Motor - The large 550-size Titan motor delivers dirt-roosting torque and lightning-quick acceleration.  The integrated cooling fan lowers running temperatures for more fun behind the wheel.  The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and provides consistent performance run-after-run.

Ultra Shocks - Slash's Ultra Shocks come partially assembled to make installation a breeze with the included silicone shock oil.  X-ring technology delivers a perfect seal and smooth performance.  The shocks are fully tunable with a wide range of oils, springs, and pistons.  Features include pressure bladders for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change the ride height and spring pre-load.  

Chassis Nerf Bars - Tough integrated nerf bars offer side chassis protection against the fender-to-fender impacts of track competition and backyard bashing.  

XL-5 Waterproof ESC - The waterproof XL-5 electronic speed control packs powerful safety and convenience features like three separate drive profiles, low-voltage detection for LiPo batteries, and Thermal Shutdown Protection to prevent overheating.  Traxxas' patented Training Mode reduces power by 50%, making it easier for new drivers to develop their control skills before unleashing full power.

Long Wheelbase Chassis - Slash's long 13.2" wheelbase chassis provides superior stability on high-speed straights with over 3.5 inches of ground clearance to prevent bottoming out.  The chassis includes drain holes and a battery tray channel for routing servo wires to the receiver.

Waterproof Receiver Box - Slash's patented sealed receiver box gives you the freedom to drive where you want, when you want.  The antenna and servo wires route neatly through a special water-tight seal.  A blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from water.

High Torque Steering Servo - A race truck needs a powerful steering servo for responsive performance, so Traxxas includes the 2075 waterproof digital high-torque servo in the kit.  The servo provides precise steering authority and speed for wheel-to-wheel racing in the backyard or on the track.

Short Course Wheels & Tires - Slash's BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A tires have excellent grip in the dirt and just the right amount of slide on pavement.  Their authentic scale appearance and realistic performance add to the racing experience.  The tires come mounted and pre-glued to satin chrome dual-profile SCT wheels for quick installation.

Adjustable Battery Hold-Down - Slash's innovative battery tray accommodates both flat and "hump" pack NiMH batteries.  The extended tray allows the battery packs to be positioned forward or backward for front/rear weight bias tuning.  An optional battery expander kit (sold separately) is available for use with oversize batteries.

TQ Radio System - The TQ transmitter's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, glitch-free performance.  2.4 GHz technology allows you to race multiple vehicles side by side without interference.  The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day driving with an internal antenna that is impervious to damage.

Bellcrank Steering - Slash's high-performance bellcrank steering system minimizes bump steer for precise wheel placement and increased cornering stability.  

Adjustable Steel Turnbuckles - Heavy duty steel turnbuckles allow trackside camber and toe tuning for greater agility and highspeed performance.  Captured rod ends provide unmatched durability, and they won't pop off during a race.

Hex Hardware - Slash uses pro-quality, high-grade, metric hex-drive hardware throughout for extra strength and easy installation.  The black-oxide rust-resistant finish provides a high-tech look and feel.

Clear Clipless Body - High-flying stunts won't upset Slash's tough clipless body.  Locking tabs hold the body tightly, but release in just seconds. Slash's hidden latching system maximizes convenience and scale realism by removing traditional body clips which would interrupt the body's clean lines.  The clear Slash body comes ready to paint with factory-installed overspray film.  Window masking and full decal sheets are also included in the kit.

Tube Bumpers - Engineered to handle the abuse of bumper-to-bumper bashing, the scale tube bumpers are designed t absorb brutal impacts while looking the part of a true short course race truck.

Motor Mount with Cooling Channels - The sealed gearbox protects transmission components from dirt and rocks.  The molded motor plate integrates finned cooling channels that work in conjunction with the motor's internalfan to pull air through the motor for superior cooling.  

Magnum 272 Transmission - The Magnum 272's all metal gears ride on ultra-smooth sealed ball bearings.  The bulletproof Torque-Control slipper clutch and metal transmission gears are ready to handle any power system upgrade including the extreme Velineon brushless power system. 

Torque-Control Slipper Clutch - Semi-metallic pads and finned aluminum pressure plates dissipate heat and provide consistent traction.  The semi-metallic friction material remains stable across a wide temperature range to provide smooth, linear engagement.  Spur gears can be removed and replaced without altering the slipper adjustment.  

Rubber-Sealed Ball Bearings - Rubber-sealed bearings offer the ultimate in super low-friction performance and maximum protection in dusty environments.  They are included for all exposed locations on the truck and are virtually maintenance free.

Planetary Gear Differential - The planetary gear differential uses hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength during rigorous off-road bashing.  this type of differential requires virtually no maintenance, and its efficient design puts maximum tire-shredding power to the wheels.
